Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The Local 16 Pension application for proposed reduction in benefits was approved by the U.S. Treasury on Friday, August 3, 2018. Therefore, we will have an informational meeting at 10am on Saturday August 18, 2018 at Ironworkers Local 5 Union hall, located at 9100 Old Marlboro Pike Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.
We will discuss the application, the process moving forward, and explain the ballot you will receive to cast your vote. Please make every effort to attend this important meeting if you are an active participant or retiree in Local 16’s pension plan.
