Marissa’s Voice x Levels of Life (Fort Worth Outreach)

Today, we showed up where it matters most… the streets of Fort Worth, Texas. 💜

Marissa’s Voice Inc. + Levels of Life came together to serve our unhoused community with more than just a meal — we came with love, respect, and purpose.

🍝 Hot meals served:
Spaghetti with meat sauce, green beans, and a roll
💧 Cold water to keep everyone hydrated
💊 Life-saving naloxone placed directly into hands

But the most important thing we did today?
We listened.

The community told us exactly what they need next:
🧴 Sunscreen
🗑️ Trash bags
🧤 Gloves to help keep their spaces clean
💊 More naloxone
🌸 Perfume samples — because feeling clean and human matters

And we heard every word.

This is what boots-on-the-ground impact looks like.
Not assumptions… not drive-by help… but real connection.

We will be back in Fort Worth — better equipped, more prepared, and carrying exactly what was asked for.

If you want to be part of something that truly makes a difference… this is it.

💜 Donate.
💜 Share.
💜 Show up.

Because together — we don’t just feed people…
we restore dignity and save lives.

Marissa’s Voice is heading to Washington, D.C.

Amy and Mark will be traveling to our nation’s capital this May to speak with lawmakers as part of the NOPAIN Act advocacy campaign.

We are honored to join advocates from across the country to share Marissa’s story and fight for safer, non-opioid pain management options.

Marissa knew the risk.
She didn’t know that one pill would end her life.

Her voice was taken from this world, but through Marissa’s Voice, her story continues to drive change.

We will be meeting with members of Congress to advocate for policies that prevent addiction before it begins and help protect families from the devastation of fentanyl poisoning.

This is more than a trip.
This is purpose born from loss.

From our family… to the halls of Congress…
Marissa’s Voice will be heard.

💜

🖤 Black Balloon Day – DFW Remembrance Event

On March 6, communities across the country pause to remember those lost to drug poisoning and illicit fentanyl. Each black balloon represents a life loved, remembered, and deeply missed.

Marissa’s Voice will be in Grand Prairie sharing education and providing FREE naloxone for adults.

📍 Sam’s Club – Grand Prairie
2325 W Interstate 20
Grand Prairie, TX 75052
(Outside the Exit)

📅 Friday, March 6, 2026
⏰ 10 AM – 2 PM

What we will be providing:

✔ Free naloxone for adults
✔ Illicit fentanyl education
✔ Overdose response awareness
✔ Community support

Black Balloon Day is about remembrance, but it is also about prevention and protecting our communities.

💜 Marissa knew the risk. She didn’t know that one pill would end her life.

If carrying naloxone saves even one life, it matters.

💜 Estelle Village — We’re Committed. 💜

Marissa’s Voice Inc. will be feeding at Estelle Village Apartments the last Saturday of every month.

📅 Next Meal Service: March 28, 2026
🍔 Fresh grilled food
🍎 Snacks & drinks
💜 Community connection
🛟 FREE naloxone & education

We believe showing up consistently matters. Not once. Not randomly. Every month.

And we’re not stopping there…

🐣 April 4, 2026 — We’ll be back the following weekend helping with an Easter Egg Hunt for the children. Because protecting life also means protecting childhood.

This is what love looks like in action:
Food.
Conversation.
Education.
Hope.

If you feel it in your heart to support this work, please consider donating to Marissa’s Voice Inc. Every dollar helps us feed families, provide free naloxone, and continue life-saving education in our community.

We are here.
We are staying.
We are building something that lasts.

💜

After Estelle Village, we headed north to Deep Ellum for AOMV.

Different zip code.
Same mission.

We spoke with individuals.
We spoke with families.
We spoke about the reality of illicit fentanyl.

One pill. One mistake. One unknown.
That’s all it takes.

Naloxone in your backpack.
Naloxone in your medicine cabinet.
Naloxone in your car.

It is safe around pets and toddlers.
It does not harm someone if opioids aren’t present.
It only works if it’s there.

Marissa knew the risk.
She didn’t know that one pill would end her life.

So we keep going. North. South. Anywhere.

🌿 Levels of Life 🌿

Some days we’re surviving.
Some days we’re healing.
Some days we’re rising.

Every level matters.

Marissa was my only child. She lived with light, depth, creativity, and courage.
“Marissa knew the risk. She didn’t know that one pill would end her life.”

This video represents the levels we walk through — love, loss, growth, grief, purpose.

At Marissa’s Voice, we meet people at every level:
💜 Learning about illicit fentanyl
💜 Grieving someone they love
💜 Ready to act
💜 Ready to carry naloxone

No matter where you are — you matter.

Carry naloxone. Start conversations. Choose integrity. Choose life.
