Standing Fast in the Humility of God
There is a quiet strength found in humility—a strength that does not shout for attention, but endures, trusts, and rests in the grace of God. In a world that pushes us toward pride, recognition, and self-glory, we are called to something different: to walk low so Christ may be lifted high.
Humility is not weakness—it is surrender. It is choosing God’s will over our own and allowing His Spirit to shape our hearts. When we stand firm in humility, we create space for God’s power to move through our lives. It is there, in that surrendered place, that we become vessels for His love and messengers of His Good News.
Even Peter—bold, passionate, and sometimes impulsive—struggled with this. Jesus saw both his strength and his weakness. In a powerful moment, Jesus addressed not just Peter’s new identity, but the old one he could fall back into:

“Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” — Luke 22:31–32

Jesus called him “Simon” here—the name tied to his old nature—revealing the battle within him. Yet Jesus didn’t leave him there. He prayed for him, believed in him, and called him forward into a life of strengthened faith and purpose.
That same grace is extended to us.
We may feel the pull of our old ways—pride, self-reliance, the desire to be seen—but Jesus walks beside us just the same. He lifts us when we struggle, wraps us in His mercy, and reminds us that true greatness is found in humility.
So today, walk in the humility of the Lord.
Let Him guide your steps.
Let Him quiet your pride.
Let Him use your life to spread His Good News.
And when the struggle comes, remember—you are not walking alone. 🤍

Around the World Jesus is Bringing the Family Home.

Around the World Jesus is Bringing the Family Home.

With nearly 40 million Kurds scattered around the world, Pastor Georges Houssney says spiritual openness is growing.

"Every time there's a war, there's a great movement toward Christ," Houssney said. "People become disillusioned with the world and with religion that causes war. Khamenei in Iran and Bin Laden – those two made a huge difference for the gospel because they gave false hope. There are those who ask, 'Why are we following this religion of destruction...?' And so they are flocking into the Kingdom through Jesus Christ."

🙏 Praying for Our Leaders 🙏
Today, let us come together in unity and lift up our leaders in prayer. No matter the position they hold, they have been entrusted with responsibility, and Scripture reminds us that their authority is not by accident—God has allowed them to serve for such a time as this.
Let us pray that they are filled with wisdom, guided by truth, and strengthened to carry out the purpose God has placed on their lives. May their decisions reflect integrity, justice, and compassion for all people.

GOD COMMANDS

A lot of people treat the commands of God like optional advice.

They read the Bible like God is making suggestions.

Love your enemies if you feel ready.

Forgive others if they deserve it.

Deny yourself if it is convenient.

Carry your cross if it does not cost too much.

Repent if your sin becomes too obvious.

Pray without ceasing if life slows down.

Follow Jesus as long as He does not interrupt your plans.

But that is not biblical Christianity.

Jesus did not call people into casual agreement.

He called people into obedience.

God commands us to love our enemies because love is not only proven when people are easy to love.

Anyone can love the person who celebrates them.

Anyone can love the person who agrees with them.

Anyone can love the person who gives them something in return.

But Jesus calls His people to a deeper kind of love.

A love that does not become wicked just because someone else was wicked first.

A love that refuses to let hatred become lord over the heart.

God commands us to forgive others because unforgiveness feels powerful at first, but it slowly becomes a prison.

Forgiveness does not mean the wound was small.

Forgiveness does not mean trust is automatically restored.

Forgiveness does not mean evil is excused.

It means you release the right to become consumed by revenge and place justice back into the hands of God.

God commands us to deny ourselves because the self cannot be the center of a surrendered life.

That alone confronts our generation.

Because everything in the world tells us to follow our feelings, trust our desires, protect our comfort, build our identity around ourselves, and never let anyone tell us no.

But Jesus says deny yourself.

Not worship yourself.

Not obey every impulse.

Not make your emotions your god.

Deny yourself.

God commands us to carry our cross because following Jesus is not just about receiving blessing.

It is about dying to the old life.

Dying to pride.

Dying to lust.

Dying to bitterness.

Dying to selfish ambition.

Dying to the version of you that wants Jesus as Savior but refuses Him as Lord.

God commands us to repent because sin is not something to manage.

It is something to turn from.

Repentance is not God trying to shame you.

It is God calling you out of what is killing you.

A person who loves their sin more than they love the truth will always see repentance as offensive.

But the person who wants freedom will see repentance as mercy.

God commands us to pray without ceasing because prayer is not just a religious habit.

It is dependence.

It is staying connected to the One who has the authority, wisdom, power, and peace we do not have on our own.

Prayer reminds the soul that we are not God.

And God commands us to follow Jesus.

Not admire Him.

Not quote Him when it is useful.

Not use His name for a platform.

Not claim Him while living like He has no authority.

Follow Him.

That means His words matter.

His commands matter.

His example matters.

His correction matters.

His lordship matters.

This is where many people struggle.

They want Jesus to save them, but not lead them.

They want grace, but not surrender.

They want blessing, but not obedience.

They want a cross around their neck, but not a cross on their back.

But Jesus said if anyone would come after Him, let him deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Him.

Daily.

Not only when it is easy.

Not only when emotions are high.

Not only when the church service is powerful.

Daily.

God’s commands are not chains.

They are the path of life.

The world says obedience limits you.

Scripture says obedience protects you.

The world says surrender makes you weak.

Scripture says surrender is where true life begins.

So the question is not whether God has spoken clearly.

The question is whether we are willing to obey.

✨ Glorify God — Don’t Reduce Him to a Genie ✨
Too often we come to God only when we need something—treating Him like a genie who exists to grant our wishes. But God is not here to serve us… we are here to glorify Him.
Worship isn’t just about asking—it’s about honoring, trusting, and loving Him for who He is, not just what He can give.
When our hearts shift from “God, give me” to “God, be glorified,” everything changes. 🙏
“I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.”
— Psalm 86:12
Let today be a day where we lift Him up—not because of blessings received, but because He alone is worthy.

🍕✨ One Body, Many Parts ✨🍕
Just like a pizza loaded with different toppings—each unique, each bringing its own flavor—we’re all different parts of humanity brought together by God. Some are bold, some are subtle, some are sweet, some are strong… but when the love of Christ melts over us, we become something beautiful as ONE.
We weren’t meant to be separate—we were created to come together.
📖 “For just as each of us has one body with many members… so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others.” — Romans 12:4-5

God’s call is not about perfection—it’s about purpose.
So often we feel unqualified, unprepared, or unsure of what God is asking us to do. But Scripture reminds us that His calling has never been based on our ability—it’s rooted in His grace.

“He has saved us and called us to a holy calling, not because of our works but because of His own purpose and grace…” — 2 Timothy 1:9

God calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things. Moses doubted. Jeremiah felt too young. The disciples were imperfect. Yet God used every one of them to accomplish His will.
Your calling might not look like standing on a stage or traveling across the world—it might start right where you are. In your home. In your workplace. In a simple act of obedience.
