This week, the Middle Tyger Community Lions Club is proud to serve with purpose, compassion, and love as we fill every Blessing Box across the City of Wellford, SC! 🙌🏽📦

These boxes may look small—but the impact is BIG. Each item placed inside represents hope for a family, a helping hand for a neighbor, and a reminder that no one in our community stands alone. Whether it’s food, essentials, or simple encouragement, every contribution speaks life into someone’s situation.

✨ This is what LOVE in action truly means.

We believe that when a community comes together, there is nothing we can’t overcome. To those who give, those who serve, and those who may be in need—YOU MATTER. And we see you. 💫

🌟 Middle Tyger Community Lions Club: Serving with Compassion Through Our Blessing Box 🌟

Throug January 11, 2026

In the spirit of Service Above Self, the Middle Tyger Community Lions Club is proud to support our neighbors through our community Blessing Box initiative. This project is designed to provide accessible food support to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity right here in our local area.

The Blessing Box operates on a simple but powerful principle:
“Take What You Need. Leave What You Can. Above All, Be Blessed.”

📸 Pictured are Lions members Brenda Drummond and Sandra Hollis, standing beside the Blessing Box they help support—ensuring it remains stocked with essential food items for anyone in need. Their dedication reflects the heart of Lionism and the deep care we have for the Middle Tyger community.

🛒 Items available in the Blessing Box include:
• Canned vegetables and beans
• Macaroni & cheese
• Pasta and sauces
• Breakfast and baking items
• Shelf-stable proteins and snacks

While each item may seem small on its own, together they make a meaningful difference for neighbors who rely on this resource. The need for food assistance is ongoing, and this Blessing Box serves as a constant reminder that kindness and generosity are always in season.

💛 How you can help:
Community members are encouraged to donate non-perishable food items anytime. Every contribution helps keep the Blessing Box full and our neighbors supported.
