Middle Tyger Family YMCA The Middle Tyger Family YMCA serves the Duncan area in all aspects of healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility.

The Y is the nation's leading nonprofit committed to strengthening communities in the areas of youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. At the Y, strengthening community is our cause. Every day, we work side-by-side with our neighbors to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn and grow. The YMCA of Greater Spartanburg, founded in 1869, serves more than 13,000 individuals with a continuum of educational and recreational programs that foster growth in spirit, mind and body. Income-based rates are offered on a sliding scale for programs and membership. The Duncan branch, the Middle Tyger Family YMCA, continues this tradition of community development and service.

Yesterday, our Middle Tyger YMCA team got together for our staff meeting and 2027 Annual Campaign kickoff!

We shared updates, spent some time together, and talked about the work we do every day. Working at the Y is more than just a job. We get to know people, see kids grow, support families, and be part of moments that matter.

It was a good night with a great group of people, and a reminder of why the work we do at Middle Tyger Y means so much.
