Every penny counts when it comes to ending child bedlessness!

We’re excited to announce that Sleep in Heavenly Peace will continue to be a benefiting nonprofit through Lowe’s Round Up for Charity program, through April ‘26.

Lowe's Home Improvement customers can support our mission by rounding up their purchase to the nearest dollar at checkout in stores. These small acts of kindness add up to big impact—helping us build and deliver beds to kids who need them most.

One of the standout moments for Sleep in Heavenly Peace in 2025 was being named a recipient of the prestigious Angels Award by South Carolina Secretary of State Mark Hammond.

This recognition honors charities that have significantly impacted their communities and demonstrated exceptional stewardship of charitable resources. SHP was honored for dedicating 95.1% of our total expenditures directly to charitable programs — ensuring that nearly every dollar donated goes straight to building beds and serving kids in need.

This achievement reflects the dedication of our South Carolina chapters in Charleston, Duncan, Easley, Florence W, Sumter, and Westminster, as well as the commitment of our accounting and finance teams and the passion of our entire SHP family nationwide.

Thank you to Secretary Hammond for this recognition, and thanks to every volunteer, donor, and supporter who helps us ensure that NO KID SLEEPS ON THE FLOOR IN OUR TOWN!
