If you had exhibits displayed at the State Fair, please pick them up from the Extension Office by 4:30 p.m. on October 9.

We are unable to store exhibits long term, so any exhibits remaining after the deadline will be disposed of. We will keep your ribbons at the office for you to pick up.

🍀🏆 STEPHENS COUNTY 4-H SHINES AT THE STATE FAIR! 🏆🍀

Congratulations to all 17 of our talented exhibitors whose projects advanced to the State Fair: Aubrey Brady, Brinlee Dunlap, Brylie Turner, Cali Kaspereit, Gage Wright, Graycie Farris, Josie McPherson, Kinsley Morgan, Kyson Cox, Maelyn Montieth, Malachi Chambers, Marston Montieth, Mathias Chambers, McKaylee Dunlap, McKinley Chambers, Wade Derryberry, and Wyatt Farris!

We are incredibly proud of the time, creativity, and hard work each of these 4-H members put into their exhibits. Having a project advance to the State Fair is an accomplishment worth celebrating!

Please give a BIG round of applause to our exhibitors who earned State Fair placings:

👏 Aubrey Brady: one 1st Place and two 2nd Places — all three exhibits are on display!

👏 Brinlee Dunlap: one 5th Place — on display!

👏 Brylie Turner: two 5th Places — both exhibits are on display!

👏 Gage Wright: one 2nd Place — on display!

👏 Graycie Farris: eight 1st Places, three 2nd Places, two 3rd Places, two 4th Places, three 5th Places, four 6th Places, two 7th Places, and one 9th Place — 24 exhibits are on display!

👏 Josie McPherson: one 6th Place and two 10th Places — all three exhibits are on display!

👏 Kyson Cox: two 1st Places, one 2nd Place, three 3rd Places, one 4th Place, one 5th Place, and one 6th Place — all nine exhibits are on display!

👏 Maelyn Montieth: one 5th Place and one 9th Place — both exhibits are on display!

👏 Malachi Chambers: one 1st Place — on display!

👏 Mathias Chambers: one 5th Place — on display!

👏 McKaylee Dunlap: one 7th Place, one 8th Place, and one 10th Place — all three exhibits are on display!

👏 Wade Derryberry: two 1st Places, four 2nd Places, nine 3rd Places, four 4th Places, one 5th Place, three 7th Places, one 9th Place, and one 10th Place — 23 exhibits are on display!

👏 Wyatt Farris: four 2nd Places, two 3rd Places, five 4th Places, three 5th Places, one 6th Place, one 8th Place, and two 10th Places — 14 exhibits are on display!

Altogether, our members earned 95 recorded placings, with 87 placed exhibits marked to remain on display at the State Fair!

Congratulations to every exhibitor! You represented Stephens County 4-H with creativity, dedication, and pride. We are so proud of you! 🍀💚

If you picked up a baked good, vegetable, or any other exhibit that received first place in a 4-H category, please bring it to the Extension Office by 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15. Kaylie will make sure your exhibit is transported to the Oklahoma State Fair.

🎯🍀 4-H Shooting Sports is kicking off soon! 🍀🎯

Sh***un practice begins August 19th from 4:00–6:00 PM at the Duncan Gun Club! We’re excited to get back on the range and start another great season of learning, building skills, and having fun!

✅ Members must be ACTIVE in ZSuites to participate.
✅ Members must be 10 years old as of September 1st.

📣 NEW THIS YEAR!
Hunter Education is no longer a requirement to participate in 4-H Shooting Sports. However, the state now requires every youth participating in Shooting Sports to complete the Oklahoma 4-H Fi***rm Safety training.

We will offer this training in person at our first practice on August 19th, or members can complete it online through ZSuites in the Clover Academy.

If you would like to complete the course online but need help locating it, please reach out to Kaylie at the Stephens County Extension Office, and she will be happy to help you find it!

🚪 Tickets at the door: $10

Tickets may be purchased from Stephens County 4-H Foundation members or at the Stephens County Extension Office. When purchasing tickets at the Extension Office, checks must be made payable to the Stephens County 4-H Foundation. All cash and checks must be placed in the designated 4-H lockbox.

Proceeds help support local 4-H members through programs, activities, camps, contests, and educational opportunities. Purchase your ticket early and help us continue creating great opportunities for Stephens County youth!
