The club promotes the education of youth through hunter's safety education. Works in collaboration with the Ruffed Grouse Society to improve wildlife habitat and hunter access trails. An annual Dunbar Sportsmen's Club banquet is held during the fall and an annual club picnic is held every Labor Day weekend on Saturday. Also, an annual RGS sporting clays shoot is held every summer as a fundraiser f

or the club and RGS. Trapshooting league is held every year during the months of May through August and is open to all who would like to join.
