From Young Marine to West Point Cadet — this is what the journey is all about. 🇺🇸

Congratulations to former Young Marine Sam Dlugokenski of the Jarrettsville Young Marines, Maryland Regiment, Division One, on reaching another incredible milestone at the United States Military Academy at West Point: receiving her West Point Class Ring.

The West Point ring is much more than a piece of jewelry. It represents the commitment, discipline, sacrifice, and perseverance required to earn your place among the Long Gray Line. It also represents a tradition stretching back generations—West Point is credited with beginning the American tradition of the college class ring.

For the Young Marines, moments like this are special.

We often talk about leadership, teamwork, and discipline, but the real measure of our program is what Young Marines do with those lessons after they leave us.

Sam continues to show exactly where those lessons can lead.

Today, we don't just celebrate a ring. We celebrate another milestone in a journey of service, leadership, and achievement.

Congratulations, Sam. Keep leading the way. 🇺🇸

Once a Young Marine, always part of the Young Marines family.
