Panhandle Children's Foundation Our Mission is to Aid Disabled & Disadvantaged Children in the Texas Panhandle Area who do not qualify for any other assistance! and Talon Point, P.C.F.I.

We are non-profit organization that helps disabled & disadvantaged children in the Texas Panhandle area. We have the Redneck Golf tournament & Hogs at the Point our two major fundraisers to help support us; along with donations. For those who may be confused about P.C.F.I. receives no money nor benefits in anyway from the events that take place out there. We have been truly blessed to be able to h

elp these children. We have also been blessed to host Camp Agape out at Talon Point. These children come from all around to play, ride horses, sing, dance and meet with others. Thank you to those who donated and to continue to reach for the stars.

This is our why...

Recently we were able to help out Evan and his family with a new IPad that is capable to help with his therapy, communication, and education apps as his needs grow. This will be for his long term use. The main goal with the IPad is communication. As there is a huge communication barrier that unfortunately leaves Evan very frustrated, and unable to communicate his wants and needs effectively with bith friends and family. He loves interacting and communicating with others but it is very difficult for him to do so.

The apps the IPad is capable of holding will help give him a reliable way to express himself, participate socially, and communicate his needs, thoughts, and feelings more independently.

Every time you participate in one of our fundraisers, or make a donation these are the things we are able to make happen. Without all of the support from all of you none of this would be possible. So thank you to anyone and everyone who has ever done so. These families appreciate it more than you will ever know!

As many of y’all know, we have this really cool event every year called Hogs at the Point (click the link below for more info)! It’s always a great day filled with several activities the whole family can enjoy.

One of everyone’s favorite parts of the day is our live auction, where people get competitive bidding on all the awesome items we have available. We’ve been very fortunate over the years to have an amazing built-in auctioneer help us with this part of the event, but unfortunately they won’t be available this year 😞

So with that being said, we are currently looking for someone who would be willing to step in as our auctioneer for this year’s event! We usually only have around 5 or 6 items to auction off, so nothing too crazy, but we definitely need someone to help fill this role.

Hogs at the Point is always a great time for everyone—whether you’re here for the cook-off, the vendors, or the dance, there’s something for all to enjoy!

While it’s a fun-filled event, it’s also an important fundraiser that helps us continue our work and stay true to our mission.
