The Moore County Local Outreach to Su***de Survivors (LOSS) Team is a community-based program designed to provide support and assistance to individuals who have lost a loved one to su***de. The primary purpose of the Moore County LOSS program is to offer compassionate outreach to su***de survivors and connect them with community resources and begin the journey of healing through Dumas Survivors of

Su***de (SOS) Loss support group. The Moore County LOSS Team aims to address the unique needs and challenges faced by su***de survivors, who often experience intense grief, guilt, shame, and a range of complex emotions following the loss of a loved one to su***de. The Moore County LOSS Team recognizes that su***de survivors may require specialized support that goes beyond traditional grief counseling, as they navigate the specific circumstances surrounding su***de and its aftermath.

If you've lost someone to su***de, you don't have to grieve alone. A support group for family and friends who have lost a loved one to su***de is meeting this Tuesday, March 10th at 6:30 PM on the 2nd floor of the Moore County Courthouse. This is a safe, compassionate space to find comfort and connection. Please share with anyone who may need this.

This day honors those who carry the weight of losing someone to su***de—a grief that is profound, complex, and deeply personal. There is no timeline and no “right” way to heal. The journey each survivor takes is as unique as they are, and we stand with you in that journey.

To support survivors on their journey of grief, Moore County LOSS provides a range of resources and a support group to help heal after the loss.

I truly feel that people come into our lives for a reason, wither it be at work, church, school, or random person at a store. I openly share about my loss of my dad by su***de with others. You never know if that person themselves is thinking about it or struggling with a loss. I listen to me gut (intuition) and think it was meant to be. NG🐬
