EAST FAMILIES, WE NEED YOUR HELP~
We are meeting today at EHS in the cafeteria at 7:00 pm to discuss the essential relationship between the PTA and All Night Grad Party (ANGP). The ANGP needs the PTA to continue to offer the amazing post graduation party for our graduates.
The PTA is still looking for a treasurer, which is a mandatory position we have to fill in order to operate, without a treasurer we can't be a PTA and without the PTA we can't have the ANGP. Please consider getting involved, so we can continue to offer opportunities like this for all students!
Our immediate volunteer needs are for the following:
-ANGP supporting games, food service, raffle table, and general monitoring of areas, we will take as many volunteers as we can get.
- This year the school has asked for additional support at the commencement ceremony (10 people) to help with traffic flow, checking tickets, handing out programs and pinning boutonnieres on special guests (5:30-7:00), (4 people) help handing out diplomas after the ceremony and help with clean up and loading items to return to school (students only receive the covers walking across the stage, they receive the diploma after. Volunteers will be needed approx. 8:00ish- 9:00ish and all volunteers for the evening will receive a parking pass)
Lastly, we want to think ahead to events in the community and school during the late summer/back to school time that we can get involved with to grow our membership and support the EHS students and faculty. This is a great opportunity to get involved and help to make your students experience during this chapter incredibly memorable.
