Thank you for supporting the Northland 5K for Food Allergy!
Our fearless fire fighters showed up to hang out with everyone on Saturday morning and give them a look around the truck!
All positive exposure with first responders that we can give to our children is crucial. By doing this, they will associate fire fighters, police officers, EMTs to those that are "Helpers". It can decrease anxiety in the case of an emergency, which is especially crucial for anyone with food allergy that may need to call on our first responders, potentially more than once, during their lifetime.
