Reminder:

NYS is closed tomorrow, August 21st, so we can get ready for the backpack drive.

We are also closed Monday, August 24th, for the backpack drive. *See flyers below for details.

We are still in need of volunteers to help pack bags tomorrow between 10am-12pm. There will be snacks provided.

We are also still looking for 2 more barbers. They have to be able to cut all hair textures. Paying $200.

If you can help with either or both, please feel free to reach out!

I also wanted to give a huge shoutout and thank you to Cirrus, Old Dutch Foods and Old National Bank for helping to sponsor this event! As well as to the many volunteers that help make this possible each year! We couldn’t do this without you!

It’s that time of year again!

We will once again be collabing with Duluth Public Schools for our Annual Backpack Drive!

-1,000+ bags filled with school supplies.

-Free haircuts/styling

-Free BBQ

-Various resource vendors

-Games, crafts and more!

This event will be help at Bayfront Park on Monday, August 24th, from 4-7pm. We are also looking for volunteers beforehand to help pack bags. That will be held at The Duluth Dream Center on August 21st from 10-12pm. We hope to see you there!
