Here are some of my secrets to save money on your groceries:
Stay current with the deals going on at your neighborhood stores by checking their weekly add and by visiting the store specially the clearance racks (every store have one), since you can use a coupon for those items they will be very cheap if not free. *Always check the item's expiration date. Have your coupon binder with you at all tim
es, I keep mine in my car, you never know what you going to find at the store. Sign up/register for store loyalty cards, and your favorite item manufacture website, they always send special coupons for loyal customers. Daily check other coupon bloggers website such as Dealseekingmom.com, Thekrazycouponlady.com, they're up to date on most of the deals going on, coupons. They will do the job of searching for the best deals for you. Wait for the "good deals", for me is the BOGO at Publix where I get 2 items for the price of 1 and I can still use 2 coupons for it and even better if they have a store coupon for the same item, making a 4 coupon (2 store + 2 manufacture coupons) for that purchase. If you don't used and it can't be stored, DON'T BUY IT! Do not be tempted to buy just to use a coupon, unless it's something you're planning to donate or something new that you want to try. Buy at least 2 newspaper to get double coupons it works better for the BOGO deals. Take the time to clip the coupons, search through the weekly adds, do your online research. Finally, get the whole family involved, have fun and pass the teaching along, help others to save money too.
