On Thursday, April 21st at 8:00 p.m. in the Kirby Student Center Garden Room, we will be screening the film, My Depression.
My Depression, featuring the voices of Sigourney Weaver, Steve Buscemi & Fred Armisen, is a critically-acclaimed half-hour film that debuted on HBO in 2015.
The film tells Elizabeth Swados’ personal story of her lifelong struggle with depression. Elizabeth — a successful Broadway composer, writer and director — uses her talents of music and storytelling to share her story and help others who may be struggling with emotional health conditions like depression.
The screening of this film will be followed by a panel discussion. There will also be a "Love is Louder" message board present for those interested in leaving comments.
Light refreshments will be served.
