Hello DJFL Players & Parents!

Just a few reminders for tomorrow’s jamboree.

The jamboree will take place at Egerdahl Field in Proctor, MN (185 Pionk Drive). For those of you who have attended before, you know that the jamboree takes place during Proctor’s Hoghead Festival, so there will be a lot going on in the area. Additionally, only players and coaches are allowed on the field and practice area. They will turn parents and fans away at the game field entrance. Remember to bring all your football gear, game jersey, and MOUTHGUARD!

Attached is a picture showing where you can park for the jamboree.

Admission to the scrimmages is $2 per person or $5 per family. Players and coaches get in for free. The money raised helps support Proctor’s youth football program and cover the costs of hosting the event. However, they will not turn anyone away if you happen to show up without your wallet.

Arrival Times
Please arrive one hour before your first scheduled scrimmage. Once you arrive, find your team and coaches and begin getting ready and warming up. This is a large event with a lot of teams and families, so please do your best to stay with your team throughout the jamboree.

As a reminder, our 7th and 8th grade teams will be combining fortomorrow’s jamboree.

3rd & 4th Grade: 9:30 AM — Arrive at 8:30 AM
5th & 6th Grade: 12:00 PM — Arrive at 11:00 AM
7th & 8th Grade: 7:15 PM — Arrive at 6:15 PM

FIRST PRACTICE: August 3rd, 2026
LOCATION: Irving Football Field (20 S. 57th Ave. W.)
TIME: 5:00pm-7:00pm
Please arrive 15 minutes early.

Below you will find important information regarding the upcoming season and available summer camps. Please be sure to register ASAP as space may be limited for some age groups and events. There are options in the registration link to pay now or pay at the first practice. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email us at [email protected]. Practices - For the first two weeks, all ages practice Monday-Friday, 5pm-7pm. After that, the practice schedule will be as follows:
7th & 8th Grade: Mon-Fri
5th & 6th Grade: Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri
3rd & 4th Grade: Mon, Wed, Fri
Games are almost always played on Saturday. Some mid-week games may be on the schedule.

Athletes will be suited with helmets, shoulder pads, game/practice jerseys, & football pants. You will need to provide a mouth guard, protective cup, and cleats.

Regular season games and playoffs for all ages! The official game schedule will not be available until right before the start of the season. Once our conference has the official number of participating teams, the schedule will be released. We will forward that schedule and post it to our website as soon as we have it.
