To be a member of an advance club there are certain criteria that must be met. For example, you must be a member of another club, and you must have achieved your Competent Communicator award OR you must be a member of another club, and you are a professional speaker/trainer or someone that does presentations in public and you are working on your CC. Every member must be a dual member.

During Toastmasters District 14 (Georgia) Spring Conference held at Evergreen Marriott, Stone Mountain, April 26-27, 2013, Lawrenceville resident, Lina Surianto, was awarded the Toastmasters of the Year Award for District 14 (State of Georgia). Lina was selected for the recognition among 6000 members in the district, which is made up of 313 clubs in the entire state of Georgia.

The top honor was awarded to Lina Surianto for her enthusiasm and commitment for Toastmasters and her dedication to the organization, coupled with exceptional leadership, communication and team building skills.
