The air has cleared and it's time to Flock! Flock to the Rock is happening today, Saturday, July 18, 10am-2pm, at Ely's Peak. Climbing gear and instruction provided free of charge for all ages. Free hotdog lunch! Hope to see you there!

2 days away, please watch this space for potential air quality cancelation but the forecast seems to be improving for the weekend. However a final decision will happen early Saturday morning and be posted here.

But right now the forecast is lots of climbing fun!

🚨 CRITICAL ACCESS ALERT: Quarry Park Needs Your Help! 🚨

We have officially hit our breaking point. This year, funds have reached critical lows, and we urgently need community support to keep the water and power on—literally.

Many climbers don’t realize that Quarry Park’s ice farming is 100% funded and operated by the Duluth Climber’s Coalition. The City pays $0 toward ice farming. Most of the ice is result of DCC funds paying for water, electricity, insurance, and hundreds of hours of manual volunteer labor.

If we want to keep climbing here, we have to step up right now.

🧗 How You Can Help

DONATE: Give directly to the DCC to keep the pumps running and water flowing.

VOLUNTEER: Show up to meetings, lend a hand, and help us maintain the park.
