Catch Your Moment Foundation is a group of dedicated anglers connecting families touched by cancer with the therapeutic sport of fishing. The objective of the foundation is to provide peer support with an opportunity to find inspiration, healing connections, and enjoy the outdoors with an experienced angler. Every penny donated will go directly to the people and families that we take to fish. All

fishing trips and costs incurred are 100% donated and volunteered. Catch Your Moment Foundation is a tribute to Daniel Duty, who helped so many people create some of the most memorable moments in their lifetime. May his spirit of adventure and love for the outdoors and people carry on.

We had the privilege of spending the day with an incredible local gentleman who was recently diagnosed with Bladder Cancer, and his family, sharing laughs, swapping stories, and making memories out on Lake Superior.

We were fortunate enough to put a bunch of Coho Salmon and Lake Trout in the boat, but the fish were really just a bonus. The best part was simply being on the water, enjoying the day, and creating memories that we hope will last a lifetime.

Through the Catch Your Moment Foundation, we’re honored to offer free, fully guided fishing trips to cancer patients and their families. No cost. No expectations. Just a day on the water, good company, and an opportunity to make some special memories together.

A day on the water can do more than catch fish—it can provide hope, healing, and a chance to simply enjoy the moment.

Catch Your Moment Foundation is currently seeking cancer patients, survivors, and their families for FREE guided fishing experiences designed to create lasting memories and meaningful connections outdoors.

Whether someone is in treatment, recovering, or celebrating remission, our volunteer guides are ready to provide a relaxing day on the water at no cost.

Every trip includes:
🎣 Fishing gear and licenses
🥤 Snacks and refreshments
🚗 Transportation assistance when available

Founded in Duluth by cancer survivor Timmon Lund, Catch Your Moment serves individuals and families throughout Minnesota, North Dakota, and Michigan. These special outings are made possible entirely through volunteers and generous donations.

Catch Your Moment Foundation is actively looking to connect with individuals and families touched by cancer for our FREE, fully-guided fishing trips.

Whether you (or a loved one) are currently in treatment, recovering, or celebrating remission, our volunteer anglers are here to help create a day of hope, connection, and healing outdoors.

We take care of everything:
• Fishing equipment & licenses
• Snacks/drinks
• Transportation assistance (when possible)

Founded right here in Duluth by cancer survivor Timmon Lund, we serve families across Minnesota, North Dakota, and Michigan. Every trip is 100% volunteer-led and donation-funded.

Catch Your Moment Foundation is passionate about more than just guiding cancer patients on fishing adventures. We love supporting efforts to encourage youth to fish, highlighting the wonderful mental health benefits this sport offers. An exciting event is just around the corner—this weekend, the Twin Ports Walleye Association is hosting a Take-a-Kid fishing event in Duluth. They're taking underprivileged youth on water adventures, and we're thrilled to support them with youth fishing giveaways to help more young people enjoy our beloved sport. We truly appreciate the chance to make a positive impact.

Additionally, we're on the lookout for creative minds and new board members. With our current board approaching term limits, we're eager to pass the torch to enthusiastic new supporters. Reach out if you're interested.
