Thank you for your service 🫑

The impact of the Minnesota National Guard's 148th Fighter Wing is felt by our community 24/7/365. The members' contributions to Grandma's Marathon are only part of what this organization does to keep our region safe, healthy, and happy.

Over the past decade, our relationship with the 148th has become more formal and has led to what is now one of our most cherished race traditions – the military flyover at the start line of Grandma's Marathon.

We are proud to live in a world with the men and women of the 148th Fighter Wing, and we were honored this morning to present the members (represented by Col. Scott Prom) with our 2026 Rudy Perpich Public Service Award!
