It’s Spina Bifida Awareness Month 💛 Spina Bifida is known as the snowflake condition, as no two people experience it the same way. ❄️ About 1300 babies will be born with SB every year in the US. Leo may never walk, but man is he fast in his wheelchair! ♿️ this month we highlight Spina Bifida, something that changed our life, but honestly has made us better people.

As medical parents, we’ve heard it all. But these are a few that come up and just rub me the wrong way. 🤣

Getting out and hiking with a medically complex child is a lot of work! But we’re so grateful for our Huckleberry Hiker that allows us to take Leo outdoors. Everyone belongs in the outdoors!
