Duluth Church Cemetery This page is dedicated to supporting the preservation of the Duluth Church Cemetery. Duluth Church Cemetery, Inc.

We honor those who have gone before us who have made Duluth a great place to live. is a 501(c)3 Corporation - and includes both the Methodist and Baptist sides of the cemetery. For years the only churches in Duluth were the Methodist and the Baptist. Many of the people who are responsible for the development and growth of Duluth and of the two churches are buried in these cemeteries. All upkeep in

side the cemetery is led by the church cemetery committee, with some funding by the two churches. Both churches pay equally into a fund that pays for cutting the grass during the spring and summer. As downtown Duluth begins to thrive, the need has risen to provide additional maintenance to preserve the heritage of the cemetery. Those with loved ones buried in the cemetery or interested in it's preservation for whatever reason are encouraged to get involved.

Wreaths Across America ceremony today was so special.

A wreath was displayed for each branch of military and in honor of POW’s. Volunteers then laid a wreath on each veteran’s grave, said the members’s name and thanked them for their service to our country.

Cemetery Gathering is TOMORROW! Due to the chilly forecast, the event has been MOVED into the Community Room at City Hall.

We will have hot beverages available at 4pm for those who would like tours and learn more about the history of the cemetery.

At 5pm there will be a brief presentation about the efforts to preserve the Duluth Church Cemetery followed by delicious BBQ & Fellowship.
