Greetings from the Lester trail crew!

This week we'll continue last week's work on Hawk Ridge. If you have a pair please bring safety glasses, we're doing a lot of rock work and some chips have been flying! We'll meet at 5:30 PM on Monday, June 22nd at the Maplewoods hiking trailhead on Skyline.

What to bring: Closed-toed shoes, work gloves, water, & bug spray. We typically work 2-3 hours, but feel free to leave whenever you need! We generally work through all weather conditions if it can be done safely.

After work we’ll plan to grill in the parking lot and enjoy some time together. Feel free to bring a drink or snack to share!

Don't forget to sign the waiver for the year and log your hours using Trailbot.

Hope to see you on the trails!

Curt, Grant, and Alex

The beginner–intermediate pump track at the Lester Bike Skills Park is designed to help riders build speed, balance, and flow in a low-pressure, progression-focused setting. With smooth, rolling features, it’s accessible for riders of all ages and abilities.

This project relies on a $181,000 community match to help bring these features to life. Go to coggs.com/projects-on-the-trails for more information and to donate.

Hey folks,

This week, we have a number of smaller projects to tackle, including rebuilding some drops and jumps, brush cutting, and some general cleanup on Dr. Rockso, Merritt Creek, and Upper Burner. We will be meeting this Thursday, June 18 at 5pm at the Hutchinson Lot.

The foliage has really started to explode with the recent rain and warmer weather, and w**d whipping season is nigh. If you have a section of trail you'd like to whip outside of our regular work nights, please let us know! We will be more than happy to provide a whipper and all the necessary equipment.

Everyone is welcome- no experience necessary! Tools and instruction will be provided. Please bring eye protection, gloves, closed-toe shoes, water, and bug spray.

Please fill out the COGGS volunteer waiver and log your volunteer hours on trailbot.

We hope you’ll be able to join us this week!

- Adam, Eric, Justin, Kim, Quentin, and Rudy

Please bring eye protection, gloves, closed toe shoes, and water. Remember the ticks are out so plan accordingly to protect yourself.

We will be grilling out afterward so please bring something to share!
