Cyclists of Gitchee Gumee Shores - COGGS Serving the MTB and recreational communities of the Twin Ports since 1994 by building, maintaining and advocating for trails and trail access.

COGGS (Cyclists of the Gitchee Gummee Shores) is 501c3 Non-Profit Cycling Club serving the Duluth/Superior Twin Ports Area and a proud chapter of IMBA (International Mountain Bike Association).

Work continues on the Keene Creek Jumps!
A huge thank you to Saline Landscape for the machine time. All of the landings were built up across the lines and they are really starting to take shape. We have a few more dig days this year. The crew meets Monday evenings at 6pm and works under the lights of the highway!

This summer, we partnered with One Track Mind Foundation on a new section of trail in Hartley Park. Crews from WisCorps and Conservation Corps MN & IA spent a week building a more accessible connection between Hartley Nature Center Center and the beloved Pines loop, making it easier for riders of all ages and abilities to enjoy.
Hartley is one of our most visited parks, and its accessible parking and trailhead amenities make it a favorite for groups like Northland Adaptive Recreation . The nature center’s recreation and education programs show how conservation and recreation can work together.
Projects like this help us introduce more people to Duluth’s incredible parks and trails, while highlighting the work our community does to keep these spaces accessible for generations to come.

Fall updates!
A huge thank you to our trail work volunteers🙌
We’ve had another amazing season on the trails, and it’s not over yet.
Trail work nights are still happening Monday-Thursday. Start times have been moved up to 5pm with the shorter days.
If you can’t make a trail work night, reach out and we can get you set up with a leaf blower as the leaves start coming down in the next few weeks.

Monday, 10/12 all day dig day at the Keene Jumps!
