For 20 years, the Treasures retail store in Duluth has been more than a shop. It has been a community gathering place where your donations, purchases, and volunteer hours turned gently used items into life-changing opportunities for survivors of sexual exploitation. Together, we’ve made a difference.
After much thought and careful consideration, we will be closing the Treasures Duluth location effective Friday, September 26. This decision was not taken lightly. While the donations to our store have always been upscale quality, changes in the local retail landscape - including new competition nearby - significantly reduced traffic and sales. Closing the store allows us to be wise stewards of Wellspring Living’s resources and focus on the most sustainable ways to serve our community.
We are deeply grateful for every volunteer who sorted, priced, and welcomed shoppers with a smile; every donor who gave items with love; and every shopper who found something meaningful while supporting our mission. Your support over two decades has created a real impact for the women and youth at Wellspring Living. That impact will continue as we focus resources on the programs that provide lasting change in their lives.
