Thank you to the Duluth News Tribune for highlighting her story and heart for our community.

Life took her away from Duluth, then brought her back in a big way in the past 20 years.

BREAKING: We just passed our 2026 Housing Bill, which includes massive DFL policy wins like my bills to fund emergency rental assistance, State-wide Tenant Hotline, and Homeownership Counseling!

Minnesotans are facing record-high evictions and rising housing insecurity, and families need action now,” said Rep. Liish Kozlowski (DFL–Duluth), author of the $40 million FHPAP emergency rental assistance investment and DFL Housing Co-Vice Chair.

Our bipartisan bill invests $165M that will support thousands of struggling renters and create more than 2,200 new affordable housing (multi-family, manufactured, to single-family) opportunities throughout the state. The bill passed the House & Senate and are headed to the Governor’s desk! LFG!
