Treaty People Walk Indigenous leaders and guests will walk over 300 miles in prayer from Ashland to the Mackinaw Bridge Miigwech and thank you to all that have helped us so far.

After walking over 250 miles from the Mississippi headwaters to the Minnesota State Capitol, 160 miles along the route of Line 3 last year, and over a 100 miles to Ashland, we continue the reverse migration as Treaty People. We are now planning a walk in prayer over 350 miles to Mackinaw. We will focus on conn

ecting Line 3 to 5, humans to humans, spirits to nature. We will begin by walking the Line 5 proposed reroute, 40+miles south of the Bad River Reservation and then onto Michigan. Through treaty teachings, song, prayer, and solidarity with fellow water protectors, we intend to cultivate healing, build relationships, and educate along our journey. We walk to honor the treaties -- the supreme law of the land. We pray for Nibi (water), Manoomin (wild rice), and the Anishinaabe land that is being violated by industry. We will bear witness and pray for healing while celebrating the natural beauty of Mother Earth that we strive to protect. President Biden, follow Article VI of the Constitution and take immediate action to direct the Army Corps of Engineers to cancel pipeline permits and Honor the Treaties allowing the Anishinaabe the right to their treaty lands.

When came Treaty walkers was not landbakk was walk a warrior home. Some gave all to fight the good fights. Thinking of others more then oneself..
If we met Sherry Couture she quiet warrior and lead is in new way by encouraging us all and taking step back and letting us led her into this New World.

A home is new to me i lived many houses but having a place to not just call home a safe place..a new experiment for some of us ..
And she pays forward everyday

I hope continue support this effort landbakk is bigger rhen a chant or a banner..

Miigwech time hit milestone see if we can hit 25,000 mark on gonfund thsts not widespread and never uses others who come here for healing peace and place find themselves as continue on journey of life.
