On this Veterans Day, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served our country. Your sacrifices and dedication are truly inspiring.

It's hard to believe that we are almost halfway through 2024 already! We need to get some paddling in!!! Some of this may be repetitive, but we could use more volunteers! I'll try and keep this brief. Keep a lookout for the events being created on this page as well!

They will be holding an event called "Water Safety and Beginner Paddle River Connection".
We currently have 4 volunteers and need 1-2 more.

Volunteer opportunity with St. Louis River Alliance Outreach. They will be holding an event called "Water Safety and Beginner Paddle River Connection". Volunteers would be there mostly to help assist people with equipment and accessibility needs. This does require an RSVP as we will need to provide our own equipment from the chapter.

Take me out to the ballgame! June 7th at 6:30 PM until it's over! TRR Duluth will be fundraising at the Duluth Huskies game. We'll do this by pouring cold ones for the crowd (over 21 of course)!

Tuesday, April 23rd 5:30-7:300 PM we will have a table set up at an event for the Saint Louis River Alliance Tour of Recreational Opportunities event at Clyde Iron Works! Please feel free to stop by and say hello to Phil and Mike!

Another Upcoming pool session on April 27th from 3:00-5:00 at the Hermantown YMCA. Please please please RSVP, and if you can arrive early to help move boats and gear that would be very much appreciated!.

Take me out to the ball game!!! June 7th at 6:30 PM to the end of the game, Duluth TRR will be fundraising at the Duluth Huskies baseball game. We will serve at the bar and the tips will be considered donations to the chapter! Reach out if you're interested in helping out.

Calling all whom wish to be a Kayaking instructor!!! There are a few instructional courses coming up to help towards certification! Dear Duluth TRR veterans, volunteers, and friends,

Out of an abundance of caution (see the forecast at: https://www.weather.gov/media/dlh/DssPacket.pdf) the Sunday, March 24th pool session at the Hermantown YMCA has been canceled.

Our first outside paddle is on the Saint Louis River (weather permitting) on April 14th at 1 pm. The put-in is at the Munger Landing (also known as Clyde Ave). See https://maps.app.goo.gl/bTpo9Vy36jwh7zVn6 Wetsuits or dry suits are mandatory. RSVP please.

Our next pool session is on Sunday, April 28th from 3-5 pm at the Hermantown YMCA pool. Again, RSVP please.

We at Team River Runner Duluth hope everybody is doing well! We've been asked a bit lately, "How can we help or donate to Team River Runner?"

If you'd like to donate and help fund our veteran community of paddlers here's how!

Visit the main Team River Runner page here https://www.teamriverrunner.org/

Then click on "donate today" On the next page there is a button, "donate to your local chapter." On that next page click on the "please identify which chapter you wish to donate to. Scroll down to "Minnesota" and select "Duluth." Fill out the rest of the information and bingo. 90% of the donation comes to our chapter and the remainder goes to the national organization!

If a check is more to your liking, write the check to "Team River Runner" and earmark it to Duluth.
Message us here and we can tell you how to get the check to where it needs to go!
