🌟 JOIN ME IN CELEBRATING MY NONPROFIT BESTIE — DEBRA NEALY! 🌟

I am beyond excited to celebrate my dear friend, mentor, and nonprofit bestie, Debra Nealy, who has been named a 2026 Unsung Heroine by the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Metropolitan Atlanta Chapter! 💐❤️

Debra and I met during my very first year of founding P.Phashions Foundation, and I can honestly say that meeting her was a blessing. From the beginning, she has poured her seasoned nonprofit knowledge, wisdom, and experience into me and P.Phashions. She has guided me, encouraged me, challenged me, and helped me navigate the nonprofit space with confidence. Her mentorship has been invaluable to our journey.

For more than 25 years, Debra has been breaking down barriers to higher education. As the Founder and Executive Director of Step Ahead Scholars, she has guided more than 7,000 students to and through college while helping them secure millions of dollars in scholarships and grants.

She was also a founding Steering Committee member of the Georgians for College Affordability Coalition, where she played an instrumental role in establishing the historic DREAMS Scholarship, Georgia’s first statewide need-based financial aid program.

Her partnerships and impact extend from the Carnegie Foundation to Georgia Tech, Emory, and MIT, all connected by her unwavering belief that educational equity is both a moral and economic imperative.

But for me, Debra is more than the impressive résumé. She is the friend who took the time to share her knowledge, open doors, offer guidance, and cheer me on as I built P.Phashions Foundation. ❤️

Congratulations, Debra, on this well-deserved honor! 🎉 You are truly an Unsung Heroine, a champion for students, and one of the most genuine advocates for educational opportunity I know.

🌟 P.Phashions Scholar Spotlight: Kyleigh Smith

We are proud to shine the spotlight on our very own P.Phashions Scholar, Kyleigh Smith, and her impressive experience with Ramp-Up Logistics Co-Op at Mercedes-Benz U.S. International.

As a member of the Ramp-Up Logistics team, Kyleigh supports the prototype builds of future production vehicles by coordinating the ordering and tracking of trial parts. She also generates weekly KPI reports and maintains parts trackers to support accurate project monitoring.

One of Kyleigh’s notable contributions was implementing a digital Kanban board, helping standardize project timelines and improve visibility and consistency across the team.

Through this hands-on experience, Kyleigh has gained valuable insight into logistics, supply chain coordination, and automotive manufacturing operations, from sourcing parts to seeing them used on the production line and assisting with vehicle assembly.

We are so proud of Kyleigh and the professional experience she is gaining as she continues to build her future! Keep shining, Kyleigh Smith !! 🌟

At P.Phashions Foundation, we are always searching for opportunities that will help our scholars continue their educational journey beyond our Wardrobe Scholarship Initiative. 📚

When we learned about the "All of My Love" Scholarship that gives high school seniors the opportunity to be awarded $1,913 to 22 exceptional students, empowering them to pursue their educational goals....we immediately shared the opportunity with our scholars and encouraged them to apply. 🎓

Offered by dreamabovetheinfluence Dream Above the Influence, Inc., Founded by actress and philanthropist Big Bean Gail Bean, Dream Above the Influence, Inc. is committed to providing mentorship, resources, exposure, and opportunities that positively impact the quality of life within the disenfranchised communities. Their mission is truly inspiring, and we were excited to connect our scholars with such an amazing organization. 🙌🔺️

Today, we are thrilled to celebrate THREE P.Phashions Foundation Class of 2026 scholars who were selected as recipients of the $1,913 "All of My Love" Scholarship! 🎉🎓

This year, our scholars received college-ready wardrobes valued at more than $350,000. Since the launch of our Wardrobe Scholarship Initiative, we have awarded thousands of pieces of clothing, shoes, and accessories to more than 525 deserving young women, representing an investment of over $1.3 million in their futures.
