Henri, the amigurumi frog, is here to tell you that vendors are needed for the Teen Craft Fair. Vendors must be teens in grades 6-12 and reach out to Heidi at the library to sign up by visiting the link below:

The Teen Craft Fair will open for public sales at the Main Library on Friday, February 21, from 12 to 4 p.m.

This event is a partnership of the Duluth Public Library and Duluth Workforce Development to encourage young people to develop entrepreneurship skills.

Native Lives Matter Coalition is hosting a fundraising event/concert this upcoming Saturday, November 9th at the Duluth Denfeld High School Auditorium. Proceeds will go towards creating a first of its kind grassroots -"MMIWR Mutual Aid Fund", support to MMIWR family search efforts for the missing, MMIWR advocacy and awareness, and support to community led efforts.

Tomorrow is the 2nd lesson for LIVE It! This is a free sexual health training for our Indigenous youth (ages 11-16)! We invite all Indigenous youth in our community to attend, learn and win prizes. These trainings will be taught by Anishinaabe and Dakota tribal elders and educators in our community. The 12-lesson LIVE IT! youth curriculum shares basic information on healthy sexuality, emotional wellbeing, and cultural, artistic and self-reflective exercises.

These trainings will occur every Friday through Dec. 13, 2024, between 4 - 5 p.m. at the Dr. Robert Powless Cultural Center, 202 W 2nd St. Duluth, MN.

This training is presented by the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Relatives Office.

Pop over to our building on April 10th from 1-3pm to one-time, pop-up free store with an option for on-site STI testing by WE Health Clinic! Testing is free for MN residents and the first 25 participants will receive a gift card! Clothing and hygiene items at the free store are available while supplies last.
