We took a little trip across the bridge to Superior to have lunch at Mama T's Smokin' Eats🍽.

Let's just say... Mamma T's does NOT believe in small portions!🤣 Our Activity Director ordered loaded nachos and was expecting a nice little plate... instead, he got what looked like a whole party platter! 🧀🌮🤣We're pretty sure the nachos could've fed the entire table.

The portions were HUGE, the food was delicious, and we had a great time enjoying good food, laughs, and even better company!😊

Congratulations to our July Employee of the Month, Peggy! Peggy founded our wellness program and served as its director for more than 20 years, creating a program that continues to benefit our residents to this day. Today, she continues to make a difference in her "retirement job" as our massage therapist, serving our residents with pain relief, general wellness, and stress reduction. Thank you, Peggy, for your years of dedication and for the compassion you show our residents every day. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition!

The weather warmed up just in time to enjoy a pontoon ride along the mouth of Lake Superior. The trip was provided by The St. Louis River Experience, a local nonprofit service organization dedicated to helping seniors experience and enjoy our beautiful St. Louis River. Thank You for a memorable day!

Our Garden Club has been busy potting and planting. Thanks for making our grounds beautiful and bright! We can't wait to see the flowers and eat the fresh veggies!
