We want to thank Manassas Fire and Rescue for the donation of a engine to our department. We also want to thank the Virginia Fire Chiefs Association for the program of putting used serviceable equipment back to work for departments that don't have the funding to buy equipment.

🚒 On May 30, the City of Manassas, Battalion Chief Robert Bettis, donated an engine and additional equipment to Chief Roger Carter of Duffield Fire & Rescue through the VFCA Surplus Apparatus Program.

This program helps place usable apparatus where it can make an immediate difference, connecting departments and strengthening service across Virginia.

We would like to ask that everyone remember a active life member of our agency that passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Larry Sons has been a active member in our agency for many of years. He was a EMT-B and FF2 and held many officer positions over the years. Larry will be missed by his family and our agency. Please remember his family in prayer. Rest easy 159.
