Python Coding Club: Day 1! 🐍💻
Some of our FLL team members took on a new challenge—learning Python!
We started with the basics: getting our computers set up, making sure everyone had the tools they needed, and learning how to navigate a coding environment. From there, we jumped into our first Python concepts and began learning how to write and run simple programs.
It was awesome watching the kids troubleshoot, ask questions, and experiment!
This is just the beginning! As we continue learning Python, the goal is to help our FLL members build confidence with coding and understand the logic behind the programs that make robots do what we tell them to do. 🦾🐍

Huge shoutout to David, from The Due Westerners, for hosting an awesome Rocket League strategy night for FTC and FRC! 🚗💨🎮
​Between the friendly banter, laughs, and clutch plays, we picked up some serious tactical insights. Turns out quick rotations, spatial awareness, and real-time team communication in Rocket League translate directly to our FTC and FRC robotics seasons!

Work hard, play hard, and keep improving! Who says robotics prep only happens in the workshop?

🤖🔧 What an AWESOME FLL Build Day! 🔧🤖

We want to give a huge THANK YOU to all of our Due West Robotics families and members who came out for our recent FLL Build Day! We were thrilled by the incredible turnout and the energy everyone brought to the day. 🙌

It was amazing to see our young robotics teams working together, building, problem-solving, testing ideas, and—most importantly—having fun while learning! 💡🧱⚙️

A special thank you to all the parents and families who gave their time, encouragement, and support. Robotics is truly a team effort, and we are so grateful for the community that makes opportunities like this possible.

We’re excited to see what these teams accomplish this season! The robots are taking shape, the ideas are rolling, and we’re just getting started! 🚀
