At The Veteran's Rock are two apple trees that we share (fruits) with our community. Most of them have been picked, but I found a few within my reach and am making apple sauce. Ill call it Thank You apple sauce!

We have begun our campaign to install a war dog memorial at The Veteran's Rock site, and are seeking donations to cover the costs. Coming soon to our page will be a QR code for donating. In the meantime, if you'd like to donate toward this project, send your check to Dudley Christian Church, 212 O'Berry Road, Dudley, NC. 28333. Below is a pic of what we're hoping to have installed at the northwest corner of our site.

On May 18, 2025 DCC will host a special morning service in honor of Armed Forces Day. We will also be honoring our Tour of Honor friends. Church begins at 10:30 at The Rock, followed by a patriotic sanctuary service. Lunch will follow at noon. If you'd like to attend please RSVP to our church website or below so we can get a head count for food. We look forward to honoring those who served with honor.

Would you look at the group of visitors that came to The Veteran's Rock today!!! I'm so disappointed that I wasn't there to speak to them. Thank you all for your service and honoring those who served. God bless you and God Bless America.

The Veteran's Rock and Dudley Christian Church welcomes the N.C. Garden Club Eastern Regional Judges Council on August 28, 2024. The Lady Banks Garden Club sponsored our Gold Star and Blue Star Memorials at our Rock site in 2023. Salute!!
