Today is our 4-H Kick off! Come learn about 4-H, ask questions, and enjoy time with friends. There will be lots of fun little games, treats, and of course the caramel apple bar!

We will also do our drawing for the September enrollment incentive! Must be present to win! All 4-H youth enrolled in september will be entered to win!

When you hear “4-H,” what do you think of? Horses? Cows? The county fair?

4-H is all of that—but it’s also SO much more! 💚

4-H is a youth development program where kids can explore their interests, learn new skills, build confidence, make friends, serve their community, and discover what they’re capable of.

To our 4-H youth—thank you for showing up, trying new things, working hard, and making 4-H so much fun. 💚

And to our amazing volunteers, club leaders, parents, mentors, and supporters—THANK YOU for the countless hours, encouragement, knowledge, and heart you give to our youth. We truly couldn’t do it without you! 🍀

👕 WEAR GREEN — Rock your favorite green shirt, 4-H gear, hat, or anything green!

💡 LIGHT UP GREEN — Turn your house, barn, business, porch, or outdoor lights GREEN tonight!

💚🍀 LET’S GO GREEN FOR 4-H ON OCTOBER 5! 🍀💚

National 4-H Week is October 4–10, and on October 5, we want to see Duchesne County GO GREEN! 💚

There are TWO ways to join the fun:

💡 LIGHT IT UP GREEN!
Turn your outdoor lights, smart bulbs, LED strips, barns, businesses, or anything else you can GREEN for 4-H!

💚 WEAR GREEN!
Wear your favorite green shirt, 4-H gear, hat, socks—whatever you’ve got!

📸 Then snap a picture and share it in the comments below! We want to see YOU wearing green and your homes, barns, businesses, and communities lit up green!

🍀 Mark your calendar: OCTOBER 5! Let’s see how much of Duchesne County we can turn 4-H GREEN!

🍀💚 NATIONAL 4-H WEEK IS ALMOST HERE! 💚🍀

October 4–10 is National 4-H Week—a week dedicated to celebrating 4-H youth, volunteers, families, and all the amazing opportunities 4-H provides!

This year’s theme is “Beyond Ready.” Throughout the week, we’re celebrating the skills, experiences, and opportunities that help 4-H youth become ready for whatever comes next!

4-H is so much more than livestock and agriculture. It’s leadership, STEM, cooking, art, service, outdoor adventures, healthy living, friendships, and SO much more! 🍀

We have a couple of fun ways for YOU to celebrate with us this week!

💚 MONDAY, OCTOBER 5 — GO GREEN DAY!
👕 Wear GREEN or your favorite 4-H gear!
💡 Light your home, barn, business, or outdoor lights GREEN!
📸 Take a photo and send it to us or share it in the comments!

💚 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 8 — THANKFUL THURSDAY!
Take a moment to recognize someone who has made a difference in your 4-H experience—a mentor, educator, volunteer, parent, leader, or fellow 4-H member!
