The Clarke Student Association is a board of student senators elected each spring by the Clarke University student body. Each class has four elected senators who work to enact the will of the students. CSA also has an executive board of four students who preside over the organization. The senate is split into four committees, each with a unique goal and purpose: philanthropy, campus enhancement, s

pirit, and public relations. CSA also interacts closely with all student organizations on campus. As such, our goal is to be the voice of the Clarke student body through the interactions of leaders from all facets of the Clarke community.

To our current and former students and Clarke Student Association - CSA senators, we are deeply saddened to share that Bill Kochendorfer, Clarke’s beloved security officer, has passed away after a brave battle with cancer. Bill was part of the Clarke family for 18 years, and absolutely loved interacting with students and his colleagues. CSA was always proud to host him for self-defense lessons for students, which he greatly enjoyed!
