Thank you everyone who has donated, a shout out will come soon. Today is the last day to donate, so if you plan to contribute to this year's event, make sure to get them in this evening.

Hey everyone,

Dates are solidified. We are back with another year of the annual turkey give away. We would like to thank our annual sponsors, Hy-vee and Fareway for donating 20 turkeys each. This year, all extra donations will go to Dubuque Hy-vee. As always, we appreciate those who contribute each year whether it is 1 turkey, 3, or 10. Every little bit helps.

Just like last year, turkey donations are $25. We accept cash/or check. Checks can be made out to Dubuque Hy-vee. To arrange pick-up of the cash or check, you can email [email protected]

If you would like to donate online, ActBlue is our donation platform and the link can be found here: https://secure.actblue.com/contribute/page/bowl-a-thon. Instead of multiples of $25, it is $26 because an additional fee is charged. It will ask if you want to donate extra (NOTE: if you do, this does not go to us, it goes to ActBlue and is not tied to us in anyway), so that is optional.

The hard deadline for donations is November 17, 2025 at 5 p.m.. Please share this out there so we can increase our reach. If there are turkeys left over from the event, they are taken to the schools and given to families who do not show up on the day of the event.

Also, there will be turkey lunch hosted at the MFC, more details to come on that.
