Mackenzie enjoyed her experience of what it’s like to run for Iowa State Dairy Princess! The young ladies she spent the last few days with along with the chaperones were truly spectacular. The days were filled with speakers, contests, lots of great food and dairy products of all kinds! Thank you to all those who supported and encouraged Mackenzie to take on the experience!

Congratulations to the new Iowa State Dairy Princess and Princess Alt! It was a great experience and amazing week getting to know you girls! You will do exceptional in the coming year!

And the new Iowa Dairy Princess and Princess Alternate have been crowned! 👑

Hannah Hagen, an 18-year-old from Waterville, was crowned the 73rd Iowa Dairy Princess during an evening ceremony at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines on Wednesday, August 12. Hannah, daughter of Erik and Lisa Hagen, will spend the year serving as a goodwill ambassador for Iowa’s dairy farmers.

Mae Wedemeier, 18, of Maynard, was named Iowa Dairy Princess Alternate. Mae, the daughter of Scott and Catherine Wedemeier, will share duties with the princess.
