Public Announcement: Thanksgiving Message
November 27, 2025:
Grace and peace from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ be with all of you brothers and sisters,
My fellow believers, it is absolutely a privilege, and with deep gratitude, I am writing you this letter to share with you that I have returned from Africa safely and am currently in Minnesota.
As God commanded us to go for him and to do his will in our community, churches, and our world, I am delighted to share with you that I had the opportunity and was awesomely honored to go to Africa for our 14th mission trip to the people of South Sudan and Ethiopia.
One highlight: Luallok Bible School and Leadership Training College graduated 10 seminary students in October. We now have 26 new seminary students plus three returning seniors who left school last year due to illness.
As we head to Thanksgiving weekend, many of us will be traveling to be with family and friends. Some of us will be thinking about loved ones who went home to be with the Lord.
Friends and mission partners, we would like you to take time to pray for our mission schools, teachers, students and their parents, our missionaries, and for the suffering ones in our world.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, and to all my family and friends around the globe. In addition to praying for the SSEM ministries, please pray for the people of Sudan, South Sudan, and Gambella, Ethiopia.
These are challenging, strife-filled times in a world that needs to learn about Jesus. Thank you all so much for taking your precious time to read this message, think of us, and pray for us. May the grace of God be with all of you during this Thanksgiving and Christmas season!
Sincerely,
Paul Both Missionary to South Sudan and Ethiopia
