A “thank you” to everyone who was able to participate in the election of our Shop Committee Chairman last Thursday. Congratulations to Brad Teutschmann on your election as Chairman. This election was necessary because of a By-Law that was passed at the February Membership Meeting. The By-Law stipulated that if there was more than one person who accepted nomination for Chairman, an election had to be held within 15 days of the triennial election.

This Memorial Day, let us all take time to remember and honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for their country. It is because of these brave men and women that we enjoy the freedoms we have today and we must never forget their sacrifice and the sacrifices of their families. Wishing my UAW family — and all Americans — a safe and pleasant holiday.
