Poverty to Prosperity is a Guaranteed Income Pilot Program aimed at eliminating poverty in our community and across the world. Participants receive a $500 line of credit reloaded monthly for 12 months. In conjunction with this are classes ranging from financial literacy and wealth planning to entrepreneurial training and personal development. After 12 months participants will have used the $6,000 to climb out of debt while also gaining the skills and financial freedom to follow their dreams - to take risks and create additional revenue streams beyond their 9-5.
Mission: To allow impoverished individuals or families an opportunity to become financially independent and prosperous.
Theory: If you supplement an individual or family trapped in poverty with a monthly stipend their ability to take risks will increase as will their income.
