We are so proud of Kendra and all the hard work she has put into representing Dubuque County. She has done an incredible job throughout her reign, and we know she will continue to represent our county with confidence, grace, and pride.

Due to the weather, the Queen Coronation has been moved indoors to the Main Ballroom.
The event will now begin at 6:45 PM.

We still look forward to celebrating this exciting moment with all of you. The candidates, past royalty, families, and fair supporters have put so much heart into tonight, and we’re excited to continue the tradition — just under a dry roof instead.

🌟 It’s been a fantastic start to Fair Week! 🌟

The 2026 Dubuque County Fair Queen, Kendra Calonder, and the 2026 Dubuque County Fair Princess, Abigail Shepherd, along with the 2027 Dubuque County Fair Queen Candidates — Alison Laaker, Macy Philipp, and Katilyn Vaske — have enjoyed an incredible first few days at the Dubuque County Fair.

From greeting guests to helping with events, these young women have brought so much excitement, kindness, and fair spirit to the grounds.

Make sure to stop out and celebrate the 73rd Dubuque County Fair — there’s still plenty of fun ahead. 🎡✨👑

Kendra has spent the past year proudly representing the Dubuque County Fair Association at parades and community events. Her favorite part of fair week? Meeting new people and reconnecting with familiar faces that make the fair feel like home. 💕

We’re excited to share that the 2027 Dubuque County Fair Queen Coronation will take place on the Main Stage on July 31st at 6:45 PM, right before the Sleep Theory concert. Come early, grab a good seat, and cheer on this year’s incredible contestants as we crown our next Fair Queen.

For those who can’t attend in person, the coronation will also be live‑streamed on the Dubuque County Fair Royalty page, so everyone can join in on the celebration.

Let’s make this a night to remember for our royalty candidates and the entire fair community.
