If you missed our last meeting, don’t fret. The holds meetings every 2nd Tuesday and 4th Friday of the month to accommodate as many writers as possible. Join us, this Friday, May 26th @ 6pm to discuss your writing & provide feedback for other area writers.

If you have a piece you’re working on already, feel free to bring that to share. If you’ve been in a creative drought & need a little motivation, feel free to use this writing prompt to get the words flowing. We know that writing is a solo act best done with community.

See you this Friday at our office located in the Schmid Innovation Center @ 900 Jackson St. Suite LL5-2B

We want to hear YOUR story for ‘rebirth’❕

On Saturday, July 22nd, the Masterpiece Literary Center is hosting a summer LitFest surrounding the theme: “Muse, Reawakened.”

While local authors, vendors, food trucks, and other activities will be available, we will have two main events: Storytelling in the afternoon & a poetry contest in the evening.

Later details of our poetry contest are to come, but we are looking for 4-6 local community members to share their stories of ‘rebirth’ ✨ — however you interpret the word.

To sign up or for more questions, please DM us or email at [email protected]

Wanting to be involved with our event in another way?? Feel free to reach out and we’ll be happy to share other ways to participate!

Thank you, all and we’re so excited to bring this amazing event to you this summer ☀️

Working with these students Prescott Elementary School has been amazing over these past couple of months! We shared snacks, laughs, and OF COURSE amazing stories over our seven week program!

When asked if they’d join us again for another workshop, ‘YES!’ was the response for 100% of students.

We’re going to miss these kids, but hope to see you all next school year!

Thanks again to our volunteers at Loras College & University of Dubuque!

And to our program sponsors, MidWestOne Bank, Hy-Vee, Fareway Stores Dubuque We couldn’t have pulled it off with all the amazing support!
