I (Louann Eck Fortin) was able to attend this installation of Dept of PA officers yesterday!

Attending conventions has been expanding my knowledge and awareness of what a great organization this organization is. ! I have met many of these officers while attending this convention and several other events over the last year!

Congratulations to all the newly elected Department of Pennsylvania Auxiliary line officers, appointed officers and District Presidents that were installed yesterday at the Department of Pennsylvania VFW.

I’m looking forward to working together with all of you and our Department of Pennsylvania VFW Commander Jim Brown and our Comrade’s to have a year the is SIMPLY THE BEST FOR OUR VETERANS

Happy Father’s Day!

Throughout the day today we will be sharing our members’ submissions in which they honor their VFW Auxiliary fathers and father-figures they volunteer alongside all year long. Please follow the hashtag to see these posts as we recognize them today for their Unwavering Support for Uncommon Heroes and applaud all the ways they enhance the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

In June of 2016, our very first male members were nearing the end of their first Program Year as VFW Auxiliary members, so in addition to recognizing Auxiliary fathers as individuals today, we would love to send a very special thank you to all of our male Auxiliary members for their first decade of service in the organization as we look ahead to many more.

In addition, we always keep close to our hearts our veteran dads and grandfathers, in particular those under whose eligibility so many of our members joined the VFW Auxiliary. Thank you for your service and support.

I am SOOO PROUD of our BUDDY POPPY crew who worked on this project for many hours ! First place in our category!

Todd and I brought Sergeant Reckless to the VFW conference at DoubleTree by Hilton and will be bringing the display back to VFW Post 7863 - The Buck this week !

VFW Auxiliary National Convention is coming up in July!

During this Convention members will engage in trainings, attend meetings, enjoy the patriotic celebration, reunite with friends from around the country and beyond its borders, vote in a new National Guard, recognize those who have inducted into the Circle of Excellence, check out the exhibit hall where they can view "Buddy" Poppy displays and a slideshow of winning patriotic artworks, shop at the VFW Store and much, much more.
