Urgent prayer request from Jean-Paul: Burkina Faso has been subject to further political upheaval as militant Jihadist violence has continued unabated. Please be praying for the safety of our staff, for wisdom and courage for pastors as they seek to calm fears, and that new political leadership would have wisdom to address ongoing security concerns. Keep Burkina Faso in your prayers as Jihadist attacks continue. Pray that Burkinabe Christians would be strengthened, and act as the light of Jesus in the midst of suffering and instability. And pray that those initiating violence would turn to Jesus.

Around 40 people, many of them civilian volunteers with the army, have been killed in suspected jihadist attacks in Burkina Faso, local sources and security officials said on Monday.

- Pray that God’s compassion would influence the government and leaders to make decisions that bring people the help they need.

- Pray for clarity, wisdom, and unity for government leaders at all levels.

- Pray for insight and adaptability for pastors as they pivot to a new way of ministry that gives them a vital role in calming fears, providing accurate information, creating virtual connections and protecting the vulnerable from the jihadist’s insurrections and ongoing instability.
