We love seeing students get hands-on experience right at their own school. 🌱
After SkillsUSA, leftover materials were put to good use at Marysville High School for a memorial area in front of the school today. EMI - Environmental Management, Inc. provided half the plants, mulch and seed, and Acorn Farms Wholesale Nursery donated about half the plants.
Mike Lynch and Josh Chalfant from EMI were there to help guide the students, answer questions and get hands-on with the project. About a dozen Marysville students helped with planting, mulching, seeding and adjusting pavers.
A big thank you to EMI, Acorn Farms, Marysville High School and faculty advisor Ashley Thompson for helping make this happen.
We’re excited to see Marysville send a team to OHLO on October 15!
