More Than Reading: The Social and Emotional Side of Dyslexia
Dyslexia is more than a reading difficulty—it can deeply affect a person’s confidence, identity, and emotional well-being. Students with dyslexia often experience frustration, anxiety, shame, or avoidance after repeated academic struggle, especially when their challenges are misunderstood. This presentation explores the social and emotional impact of dyslexia and highlights ways educators can create supportive environments that reduce stress, build self-esteem, and help students succeed.

Presented by: Dr. Stephanie Maddux
CEs: 1.5 - Certificate available for $15, payable through PayPal and Venmo
