**Community Gathering to Oppose Hazardous Waste Processing Site**

Concerned members of the community are organizing a gathering this Saturday at 12 PM at Memorial Park (corner of Encanto Parkway / Huntington Drive) and Encanto Park (Encanto Parkway / Royal Oaks Drive) to voice opposition to the hazardous waste processing site recently established by the EPA at Lario Park.

The San Gabriel River communities deserve transparency and a say in decisions that impact its health and safety. This operation was set up without public input, and without addressing serious concerns about its environmental and community impact.

I hope to see our community come together in unison to oppose this exploitation of the San Gabriel River and the surrounding communities. I hope to see you there.

An excerpt from a post I just found on next door for anyone that might be interested. This is similar to what I've heard floating around the community. I have not heard about any signs being provided so I plan to bring my own. to clarify, it's this Saturday 2-8-25. Please share if you would like to help get the word out.
