May God bless all who were there and please pass the word so more can be help by the message that none of us are alone This not-for-profit organization organized by Vickie and Danny Fletcher after they lost their daughter Ashely at the age of 20. As part of the healing process they join with others who have experience the loss of a child, at any age, from any cause.

The Perry County Remember Me Memorial is a resource for Perry County parents and families that have lost a child. We provide a shoulder to lean on...one that TRUELY understands what you are going through because we have been in your shoes.

General information

The main event of the Perry County Remember Me Memorial is our annual Remember Me Memorial service that is the second Sunday in December. It is held in conjunction with the "National Children's Memorial Day" candle lighting ceremony which takes place internationally. Families around the world light candles at 7:00pm in their corresponding time zones. As candles burn down in one time zone, they are lighted in the next creating a 24 hour wave of light that encircles the globe. We do this to honor the children we have lost, the children who lived and died, and who, even in death, continue to matter.
