Members of North Point VFC St 39 have spent the week traveling between schools and preschools for fire prevention week meeting with so many children to help spread awareness of the dangers of open flames and what to do in the event of emergencies.

We have sent home each child with the homework to check smoke detectors and to make sure batteries have been changed. We have also taught them the emergency number of 911 and the need to know their address and the location of their gather point.

Once a year warning for an all year danger! Keep safe!
